Monetary donations are the best value since SACA has the ability to stretch your dollar even further through the use of local food banks.
A small donation can make a big impact. Food shelves are able to shop at “food banks” which allows even the smallest donation to make a big difference. For example, SACA is able to purchase breakfast, lunch and dinner for a family of four for as little as $3.14 per day.
- Breakfast: cereal, milk, toast and juice for a family of four- $1.12.
- Lunch: soup, sandwich, fruit and milk for a family of four- 94¢.
- Dinner: Homemade spaghetti with meatballs, French bread and milk for a family of four- $1.08.
Of course you can donate food, clothing, and household donations. Please call SACA ahead of time to arrange for drop off of large contributions.
Have an extra vehicle lying around? We now accept working vehicles, too! Simply click here to fill out a brief form and we will get back to you shortly.
