SACA UPDATE

A New Chapter for SACA

January 19, 2026

SACA is entering an important new chapter—one that builds on a strong foundation while preparing for the future, including our move into a new building and the next phase of organizational growth.

After many years of dedicated leadership, SACA’s former Co-Directors, Dave Rudolph and Elaine Walker, have concluded their service with the organization. Their vision, care, and commitment were instrumental in shaping SACA into the organization it is today, and the Board of Directors extends deep gratitude for their years of service and leadership.

As part of this transition, the Board has moved from a Co-Director leadership model to an Executive Director model. SACA is currently under the leadership of Interim Executive Director Andréa Kish-Bailey, who is providing steady guidance and oversight as the organization continues its work and plans for the future.

Andréa is a consultant with Strategic Consulting & Coaching, a firm with a longstanding relationship with SACA. She is working closely with the Board and staff to support organizational stability, staff continuity, and strategic momentum during this period. Andréa brings more than 25 years of nonprofit leadership experience, including executive leadership roles at organizations such as White Bear Area Food Shelf and Small Sums. She holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership and has deep expertise in nonprofit management, organizational transitions, strategic planning, board governance, fundraising, financial oversight, and community engagement.

SACA’s mission, programs, and staff remain unchanged. This leadership transition is focused on positioning the organization for long-term success while continuing to serve the community with care, dignity, and integrity.

Community members with questions are welcome to contact Interim Executive Director Andréa Kish-Bailey at andreakb@sacafoodshelf.org.
